Recover corrupted XFS on Linux LVM and software raid
I believe that my machine disk is corrupted but not sure, please help me
to verify this and fix the issue if applicable:
When I check on the available disks I cannot see it attached to the server:
fdisk -l
Disk /dev/hda: 2048 MB, 2048901120 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 249
cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/hda1 * 1 249 2000061 83 Linux
But I think it should be there according to the below output, no?:
cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices: Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: Areca
Model: ARC-1210-VOL#00 Rev: R001 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision:
05 Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 Id: 16 Lun: 00 Vendor: Areca Model: RAID
controller Rev: R001 Type: Processor ANSI SCSI revision: ffffffff
The disk is supposed to host a software raid1 array but sounds like it
doesnt exist:
cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1] unused devices:
The raid array is supposed to host an LVM:
lvdisplay
/dev/dm-0: read failed after 0 of 4096 at 0: Input/output error /dev/sda2:
read failed after 0 of 2048 at 0: Input/output error
dmsetup info /dev/mapper/v0-lvol0

LVM-xtOXK8iV7z8tHJ4vXC17ap3KtDqvj4O8AvcjwEtM3c20jQrZ8LGa82iG5Z1KOvO2
Can you please help me identify the problem and fix it accordingly? Thanks!
